An Evening at Green Valley Lake
It's only a 14 mile drive from the city up to the picturesque village called Green Valley Lake.
The artist's community here opens its homes up to tourists every year, and there are many air bnb and other cabin rentals so visitors can stay a while and enjoy all of the recreational attractions.
This Bear heralds one lakeside residence.
We only dropped in for a sunset fishing expedition. @Mattlovell worked the rod and lure while Brisket and I circumnavigated the tiny lake.
There's an interesting promenade over the deep dam.
The fall color is beginning, turning Black Oak leaves into glorious shades of honey and fire.
Matt had the best luck this evening of all year! He caught 3 beautiful Rainbow Trout, perfect for our dinner plus his lunch the next day.
Brisket was very enthusiastic about this catching of fish, I believe he may have thought they are Lake Lizards. It was all I could do to hold him back from investigating further!
As the sun set, Matt took his catch to the cleaning station while I sat mesmerised by the acrobatics of bats.
What a lovely little outing it was! Thanks for joining me #WalkWithMe

What a beautiful place! I certainly wouldn't mind hanging out there. The pictures are great.
It's a sweet little place to take in cooler temps and beautiful scenery. Cheers my friend!
