The Changes Of What We See--As We Walk Along

Friends. Do you remember my post from yesterday?
You can find it here: https://steemit.com/walkwithme/@francisk/i-cry-for-help-as-i-walk-along
Do you see any changes? I won't go into details. You have eyes to see. What we see in one another now, is as good as it is going to get. From a fleshly point of view.
But we see life continuing and "changes" all around us if we will just take the time to observe.
Enough of that. We want to see what an amazing place this is to see.

Venice Florida was the location of the "Venice Army Air Base.
You can find some of the history here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Venice_Army_Air_Field

A look back toward the Gulf of Mexico. It is not far from this location. Easy walking distance. And the Venice beach that many come to year after year.

We want to focus on the unusual grouping of the "Banyan Trees."
20180107_171425.jpg

This tree is an unusual tree:
(The Banyan (Ficus benghalensis) is a fig tree that begins life as an epiphyte, germinating in the crevices of a host tree or other structure. As it grows, the banyan tree produces aerial roots that hang down and take root wherever they touch the ground.Mar 22, 2015)

These trees are one of the main points of interest for anyone visiting the City of Venice.
My hometown now.
20180107_170719.jpg

I don't know much about the trees and the history of them. But, it is amazing.
20180107_171440.jpg

FYI. I did not plan to add this photo. All I see is "cargo pockets." Ha
20180107_171535 - Copy.jpg

Can you see why this is such an attraction?
20180107_171646 - Copy.jpg

This should be enough for you to get an idea of what you can see.
20180107_170459 - Copy.jpg

One more with a little different lighting of the sun.
20180107_170513.jpg

And then is was time to move on. We had to stop for this though. Ha

Where are the girls right about now. The "question girls." Ha
Please ask me about a "thousand" questions about the dog. lol

OK. I will answer all of them right now. Are you ready?
(I don't know.) Ha ha ha Sorry for being so rude. Forgive me.

The person did say that it took three (3) generations to get the color and the markings.
I am sure that some who love dogs know much more about this than I do.
Please help if you know.

It is time to go now. I did notice some "changes" with this post. Did you?
One strike against you Francis. You asked a question.
Yikes. I can see how easy that is to do. Ha ha

Changes anyone. I remember someone recently telling me that as time continues.
It becomes more difficult. Now who told me that? Oh, I remember now.
But, let us listen to a song about "changes," I like this song. Maybe you will too.

We can all see the changes around us. Steemit is one huge example.
Our lives have been changed. For some of us in many ways.
You can make the connection in your own life.

Thank you for your valuable time and support. Maybe you found something interesting.
I hope so....................

Banyan trees are incredible examples of the drive for survival that is wired into all living things. They are fascinating.
Good to see both you and Pat participating in this story, Francis!
You both look good. ;)

Thank you Rebecca
Here is the truth.
That is the woman that lives with me. I cannot get around that. And she is likely more than should have been given to me in my life.
She has always been true to me. Never a hint or incident of unfaithfulness in all the last 27 years.
Counting this year.
It doesn't serve me nor anyone on Steemit to think that I am all alone and helpless. Ha
Just the opposite.
This woman is from a bygone era. Almost like one of the pioneer women. Rock solid in her thinking and just as unlikely to adapt to new things. A cell phone has been her greatest undertaking in recent years.
Mostly unable to learn anything new that is technical in nature. Nor does she want to.
She does have a computer. But, she says she hates it. To me. That is so sad.

I can remember when I bought my first computer. The whole package that I needed cost over $3,600 dollars.
I was so excited when I turned it on and heard the sound "AOL". That was as near to "Heaven" that I knew on earth. Even to this day. Here I am. On the computer.
I am from a bygone era. But my desire to know and to learn is so great. If I want or need to do something. I cannot rest until it happens.
Such as my first video and voice. No one that I know of on Steemit has heard my voice.
(Except my brothers)
What a day that will be. All the women will all swoon over such a soothing voice. Ha ha
No, just the opposite, "Run for the hills, will be the cry. We know that a demon or dragon is on the loose."
"Escape for your lives" Ha ha

Thank you for bring out the comical and lightheartedness in me. What is life without a little fun.
Remember? I told you that change has to come. To do anything less would be defeat and certain death.

Francis

Hahaha! I know you are right about the swooning part lots of people (including me) think that a little southern drawl is captivating.
It is not worth living without any fun. ;)

Wowwwwww!! Sooooo good to finally be able to put a face to your name!!!! Thank you for deciding to include this one, the cargo pockets were the last thing I would notice, but you said something, and that made me look!!

Oh, you wanted to look ay. You like to look at "old men?"
And women?"
Ha ha. Just kidding.
Here--Look at this. Just a couple of kids.
You must have missed it...........

Yikes. I shouldn't have sent that to you this late at night.
Wait to open to read in the morning.
I don't want you having "nightmares" tonight. Ha ha.

Francis

Oh now you really have me intrigued hahhaa!!

Beautiful Banyan tree! They are truly a magnificent tree. I really like the photos of you and Pat with the tree. Perhaps sometime we can get a photo of you two together?

Perhaps? It may be in the future.
There already is one of us on Steemit.
In case you missed it.
You can see it here: https://steemit.com/steemit/@francisk/orlando-steemup-photos-and-more
Just a couple of kids. Ha

Francis

A really good looking couple, Francis. Thanks for posting it!

Often people start planning on changing their entire lives in one go, trying to change their entire diet in one night, trying to be grateful every moment of their lives, packing as many hours into study or work as they can.

And they fail. They give up. It was too much.

But what if you started small? You started by eating a small amount of greens to your diet then increased it slowly over the days. Thinking of 3 things to be grateful for when you wake up in the morning then adding maybe 6 more for breakfast and lunch.

A very good well thought out reply.
Thank you.
Balance is the key word in most endeavors.
We live as well as learn.

Francis

Banyan tree is the most stable tree in its structure.

Those pics are looking really good.

Thanks

And I want to thank you too.
For your reply and support.

Francis

I've seen a Banyan tree in an arboretum, but that was nothing like this! It definitely looks like a cool place to visit. Thank you for sharing, Francis!

Yes, it is an unusual sight to see. It was time for Steemit to see it if no one else has posted it before.
Thank you

Francis

Amazing photos, never seen such trees!
Like from fairy tale!
Magic!
Thanks for sharing the photo.

You are more than welcome.
And I thank you.

Francis

Thank you @francisk for sharing these pics...

Steem on....and stay blissful.

Let Steemit rise to the top.
That is Steemit's rightful place.

Francis

Would you--believe-- a Samsung 7..??
Nothing fancy. I am just a beginner here on Steemit.
If I start dragging cameras around everywhere I go.
The camera shy people would want me to leave.
With my little phone.
I get to slide under the wire and not be noticed. Ha

Francis

Can you believe the cameras on phones these days? I use my lg stylo3 for all my pics and they're pretty good in my opinion... Still thinking of getting a nice camera one day but they are much more to lug around...

That's nice to hear musics. Do you like musics very much? what about style musics do you like @francisk? I refer to classical one. Nice walkwithme post with Venice Army Air Base background.
Up-Voted & Re-Steemed.

I love songs.
Mostly love songs. I should have learned to play and sing.
But, I let the professionals sing for me.
And a lot of them do very well.
