My 12th Consecutive Walk
Today's post will be kept brief, I must get some rest before my big day tomorrow :) It's my birthday, and you know...I'm pretty grown up in most ways but my birthday is a different story, I'm a right Prima Donna. It's one of the many horrible things you'll find out about me as we get to know each other here. So now that you all know that it's my birthday tomorrow hahahahahaaaa here's today's walk...
To The Beach
Always gotta pack a lunch...

The Beach
It was a kind of chilly morning, and when we got to the beach there really wasn't much of a beach because it was high tide lolol. It didn't stop us from putting down our beach towels and enjoying the ocean, though only by looking at it, there was no damn way either D'arcy or I were getting in there. We had a nice picnic though and got a few cool shots.
Always have to get the feet in the sand, regardless of the temperature.
On The Way Home

How simple and lovely! I will certainly be posting a "walkwithme" post! Most of my walks turn into herb walks where I'm attempting to identify plants. That tree with the crazy bumps by the way is called burl. Well the bumps are burl. They are really cool and when cut open are beautiful inside. I don't think it's bad for the tree other than that woodworkers like to harvest the burls off of trees to use for the beauty of the wood and can kill the tree by doing that.

Nice walk to the beach even if you didn't go swimming. I imagine that the water is pretty cold...Nice picnic lunch.
