So crazy to look at snow when we are experiencing a heat wave here! It certainly is refreshing to look at, though. I'm glad your husband had that extra jacket for your friend. It would have been a shame to get all the way up there and not be able to enjoy even the little bit that you had access to.
I think I've missed the last few of your blogs, so I'm going to have to do some catching up when I get the chance! Been a bit busy in my world, but I'm hanging in there and popping in as much as I can! :)
It's very warm here too but there is still lots of snow in the mountains. It is very refreshing to go there nowadays. It's also cool as you can see a lot of small waterfall streaming out of the rocks. These waterfall dry out in September or so when all snow is gone.. And then it starts snowing again, lol.
Yes, she was lucky. It's just difficult for people who have never been to such mountains to bring the right gear. But I hope she learned and next time she'll bring more stuff :)
No worries Katie, I've seen that you're organizing an event. Congratulations! That is a big achievement!
Now that I think of it, I actually remember hearing someone speaking the other day about their son out in Colorado. He was with some friends in the mountains where they could ski one day, then come down off the mountain and hang out by the pool the next! Elevation really does make a difference! Nature never ceases with its wonders!
Yes, I'm excited to do a second event! I debated sharing on here, but figured why not. If nothing else I knew many of you would at least be cheering me on from afar! It is really tough to market it well, but figure little by little it will grow. If nothing else I know my clients are really enjoying having the opportunity to come and have a bite to eat while getting extra inspiration. :)
