Can't flip a switch to change it. It is here. Pretending it is not is suicide. Do I think it should be changed? Yes. Yet flipping a switch won't change it.

Though I also see communism, socialism, and Marxism as extreme forms of conformity and force.

I share the goal of wanting a world where force cannot be applied and things are voluntary and peaceful. Where we can each think differently yet coexist. I think it is possible. Yet not with the current population, or the current education. I also don't think there is ANY current ideology that would work.

There are ideologies we could work towards and as we worked towards them we would encounter new problems we cannot foresee now and deal with them. The problem is another part of our current education is training people to think that being wrong is a bad thing. Thus, they will defend an idea even if the idea is flawed, or failing. Better that than be wrong, they seem to think. IF we cannot be wrong, we cannot learn, and if we cannot learn then disaster can easily occur when new unforeseen problems are encountered.

Also forcing compliance via a group is no different to forcing compliance by an individual as far as I am concerned.

Would I like to see the world change? Hell yes!

Yet we appear to be going in the opposite direction. In the direction we are going having no barriers is much like having no walls or doors and having a house full of things YOU have gathered and worked for that others are completely fine with taking... even at your expense.
