A Peaceful World to live in

There are so many issues in the world today. Some parts of the world are facing extreme terrorism whereas there are some parts who are still living in extreme poverty. While there is lots for some, there is so little for so many. And it just makes me wonder how much of disparity we have. But from all the problems of the world I feel that the people who are living in war zones are the worst. Whether we talk about the Israel-Gaza, Russia-Ukraine or the civil wars of Syria and Sudan, in the end it is the common people who are losing everything. The political parties are all in comfortable positions making decisions which are destroying lives.

Absolutely no common man wants a war and yet they are happening. For years now India and Pakistan have been in tension at the borders. But if you ask people of both these countries, all they want is peace. There are organizations funding terrorism for their own benefits, so will this ever end? It is always a question of common man.

How nice it would be if every country uses all their resources only in building their countries and staying in peace, also not having thoughts of destroying other lands. These wars are not a new problem of our current times but they have been going on through centuries. Rather I believe that they have reduced a lot from what it was in past 5 or 10 centuries back. Our history only talks about wars in lots of different parts of the world. Whether it is India, or any other part of the world. I feel that people of past did not have any goals except for wars and conquering each other's lands. Any part of the world I have travelled there has always been a history of some or the other war, which shows that people of the past were heavily involved in it. In India in our history lessons, we get to study about so many wars that have happened.

So, will it ever end? I do not think so, because human nature is such, greedy, violent and obsessive. On the other hand, there are many peaceful people also, but the violence always takes an upper hand. There is so much destruction of resources and infrastructure in these wars and the most important is the valuable human lives which get destroyed. If all the fighting is stopped and all the resources are channeled in a positive direction, then such a wonderful Earth it will be to live on.
