How To Lease Your WAVES

Waves is a decentralized crypto platform, based on an improved authenticated dynamic dictionaries scalability approach being built on top of the Scorex framework.

If you are a #Wave lite client user, you will be able also to receive rewards from the network by leasing your balance to a full node (which requires full blockchain download). The rewards from the full node’s activities will be shared between all users leasing their balance to it.

The minimum requirements to run a full node is to have 10k waves. The same incentives apply to everyone who has a balance above 0. The bigger the balance, the bigger the share from the reward pool a user receives.

Users with lower balances may choose to lease their balance to full node, which validates blocks more often than they would.

How to lease your WAVES

1. Open the Waves Client and Enter your wallet seed/password and click "Log in"
   

2. Go to the leasing tab by clicking the "L" icon
   

3. Enter the Waves address you want to lease to.
   

4. Enter the number of Waves tokens you want to lend
   

5. Lastly, click "Lease"
   

6. Check the details and click "Confirm"
   

7. You can see the transaction by scrolling down
   

You will have a share of 100% of all the Transactions Rewards with your leased waves.

NOTE:

1. Leasing WAVES does not mean transferring WAVES.
2. You can cancel a leasing transaction as soon as it is in the blockchain. That happens in about a minute most usually.
3. Payouts are made weekly.
