7-Day Wayback Music Challenge: Day 6
Starting out today with a great challenge by @dimitrisp. This "blast from the past" challenge. I was nominated by @ruth-girl
I loved this song and still do. Me and some friends were going to a concert in St. Louis one year and we were in a massive traffic jam. most of it was fellow concert goers , nothing moving at all and when this came on we got out of the car and started partying with all the people around us. It was like a giant block party in a fucking traffic jam. It was one of the most joyfilled moments I can remember. completely spontainious. I wish my whole life felt like that.
Here are the rules
*Choose one song from your high-school/college years.
*Write a few words about who made you listen to this song for the first time, what this song means to you (was it a breakup song? you blasted it at 100% on your audio system when you were partying with your friends?) whatever you want.
*Write your text while listening to the song. As soon as the song ends, wrap up what you where writing and submit it.
*Do this for 7 days in a row if you get nominated.
*Mention one person who should do this on each day.
*Tag it with #musicwaybackchallenge and include these rules at the bottom of your post.
I nominate @beeyou . Now you have to get back to writing daily. ha ha

I LOVE ME SOME HONEY!!!!!!
I can’t, no time to write. Look at the comments on my perspective post. I haven’t had a chance to get to them yet. ☹️
It’s either write a post, comment, or sleep. Last night I picked a good night sleep and it was good. I miss good sleep.
I have never heard of The Roots before. I’m more of the sappy love songs or alternative type.
You're killing me smalls. : deep disappointed sigh : fine, whatever.
See, you got over it already
What a cool contest @doomsdaychassis. Good luck! Music is such a huge part of life and gets us through so much. There are so many songs that give me an emotional rush.
Traffic jam party sounds fun! Summer time is arriving, music blasting in the speakers. I think I might just create a traffic jam just to dance with everyone :p
I had a blast, that is for sure.
Hey there, you popped up on my Hive hit list. Small world.
Sounds like you found the best way to enjoy being stuck.
You do realize you just wished for your whole life to feel like a traffic jam?
Maybe you just proved the point that any moment can be magical.
Betch you could do that now and get a laugh. Ever notice that between the teens and the 40's you can do about anything and not get much notice. Let a small child or older person do the exact same thing. Somebody wants to make a meme and stick it on the webs.
Sorry I was just typing before coffee. I am a bit late with my Hive visits.
lol. Your before coffee looks like my after coffee.
deffinatly a small world here on steemit huh? Have a good day. Thank you for stoping through.
