It IS worth seeing. I've never been to the UK, but I always thought there would be some pretty isolated wilderness areas in Scotland. Or are you thinking more of heavily forested areas?
Scotland and Wales have some wilderness, but a lot of it is affected by people. Cleared for sheep grazing or grouse shooting. We don't have so many massive open spaces like the US.
