Hidden places in Sydney😊
This Wednesday walk post is to show the contrast between old and new in Sydney, Pitt St mall has some beautiful historic buildings as you walk along but under the surface they are filled with new tech, on a facade similar to above there is a pretty discrete entrance with a W sign and it leads to some escalators that lead to a Woolworths, I was very surprised when I came upon this place!
30 card only self serve checkouts, they had people at a cigarette counter but it was mainly these self serve checkouts, not sure if I should be impressed or scared😂
I used to go to Woolworths a lot back home in NZ or as we called it Woolys
Those self service checkouts are coming everywhere machines and automation replacing people
I like you am not sure if it’s impressive or scary
Thanks for joining Wednesday Walk :)

The Sydney CBD is great for the contrast between historic and new buildings. They are so many opportunities for great photos! But then you went underground and found more! 😄
