Weekend Recap

Hi Friends,

I had a good weekend, and hope each of you did as well.

My last post had a lot of detail on my Saturday morning - fishing, kayaking and playing at the beach with Jacob! In the afternoon, we took it easy and played inside while we worked to get Kendra feeling better.

On Sunday, we skipped church due to Kendra’s sickness and Jacob has had a little cough as well. I ended up taking the kids out for rides in my truck. Kendra and I went to one of the small airports close by and watched a few planes take off - one highlight for her was when we saw a peacock while we were cruising around and watched it for a little bit - check it out:

Jacob and I ran a couple of errands, including a stop at Walmart to pickup some fishing supplies on our truck ride. We played inside in the afternoon, and football was on in the background. We finished the night with a dinner of breakfast burritos and lots of bacon, and then went outside and played with water balloons for a little bit before bath.

Overall, a good weekend!
