Weekend Recap
We had a great, but fast weekend - why does time on the weekend tick faster than during the workweek??
On Saturday we had a little adventure as it actually rained here in California. It seems like it has been 6 months since it last rained, but it finally came down on Friday night and most of the day Saturday. Kendra recently turned 1 and has never really had a chance to play in the rain so I had to take the kids out there for some fun. So Saturday morning, Jacob, Kendra and I got soaked and muddy - it was great, and hot baths were in order right after as we all got a bit chilled.
Saturday evening we went to a birthday party for my grandpa who turned 80. It was a good time and was outdoors in a backyard and the kids had fun exploring a new place.
On Sunday we ended up driving about an hour and fifteen minutes to a apple orchard and pumpkin patch in a town called Oak Glen. We had never been to this particular location before, but have had a couple of people recommend it, so we enjoyed picking some apples, picking a pumpkin, and exploring the farm. The kids enjoyed getting dirty and running around a lot. Here are a few pictures:

Friend, how are you? Another weekend of emotions, Kendra is very great I feel that in a while I will have the joy of seeing your children too big, time flies by.
The house of the grandparents is great for Kendra And jacod, there is much to explore

Playing in the rain is a wonderful adventure for children and adults. My daughters loved it and I was very happy to play with them.
Playing in the rain sounds like a lot of fun. I don't think I've done that on purpose for many, many moons.
Pumpkin patches rock though! It's fun for everyone and you can normally get great food there.
I know what you mean about the weekend going faster than the week!
6 months since it last rained???? That’s incredible... Overe here we’re glad if get 6 days without rain.. .(well, if we forget about this last summer, but that’s due to global warming).
