What an embarrassment/ Qué vergüenza
When I read ...what an embarrassment...I remember some women I've seen in some shopping centers, their children literally dominate them, just like it sounds, they don't react to their children's tantrums.
Cuando leo... ¡Qué vergüenza!... recuerdo a algunas mujeres que vi en centros comerciales. Sus hijos las dominaban, tal como suena, no reaccionaban a sus rabietas.
I don't understand why mothers allow themselves to be dominated by children as young as three. All it takes is a simple scolding. That's why, when these children grow up, they treat them as if they deserve everything, and there's no turning back
No entiendo por qué las madres se dejan dominar por niños de tan solo tres años. Basta con una simple reprimenda. Por eso, cuando estos niños crecen, los tratan como si se lo merecieran todo, y no hay vuelta atrás.
To be honest it bothers me to see this, I immediately leave the place, the one who has the power is a three-year-old child VS a woman who is his mother, who feels discomfort during pregnancy, when the child is born she feels pain, it would be good if they remembered this when imposing discipline
La verdad es que me molesta ver esto. Me voy inmediatamente del lugar. Quien tiene el poder es un niño de tres años frente a su madre, que siente molestias durante el embarazo. Cuando nace, siente dolor. Sería bueno que recordaran esto al imponer disciplina.

Sofia's comment: Felipe, thank you so much for bringing this up. We've seen this time and time again too. Mothers seem subservient to their children, and then when they grow up, they literally ignore them, they look down on them, and it's understandable, with that lack of character.
Felipe, Sofia and my mother are debating this right now, hahaha. My mother says she pulls the boy's pants down and gives him a good spanking.. What I do is walk away, just like you. It makes me angry to see this. We won't have children. This is still being debated here. I'd better keep quiet, hahaha.
