A funny story

What I heard today (while at work, mind you) was a great phrase for disappointment.

"It felt like I was on my way to someone's birthday, but I showed up to a stranger's funeral"

A sense of confusion, and disappointment. It was so well put together, and incredibly funny to me at the time.
