There are many faces within the facade of that door and the door can see but the visions which meet the eye are not seen because of the influence of others. The door needs to be its own door and have the courage to express what it sees. If it does not, it will forever be an imitation, perpetrating other views, unable to express its own. An ersatz life!
Let the door see its own vision; let the door make mistakes; let the door feel what it truly feels and the wry grin will put a smile on the face of many other doors.
And so the door should put away all fears and it will not only feel better but make all others around it better, yeah?
It's amazing how little personal action should can have a ripple effect on everyone around.
