Actually it's a pretty sad thing, how many people fall for that. Just check out the endless YT channels with flat earth videos. The problem is, that the missinformation has sometimes a pretty high level in science and they mix truth with lies so easy, that it can become a reasonable alternative to a round earth for some individuals.
