Surprising Yield!

Greetings Steemians,

The indoor garden is thriving.
I'm shocked at the growth of the beans.

I did not expect to get beans this fat and long. These beans would be satisfactory for outdoor beans in my humble opinion, and I have produced them with a mere 50 Watts worth of Light Emitting Diodes.
I am proud of this achievement, and now I am feeling like the best has yet to come.

Just look at those pepper plants. I have a feeling they might become monstrous and hopefully they will have nice yields.

Tomorrow I will harvest a few beans while allowing the new to take off.
The root system likely still has room for growth, (judging by drying time) and the larger the root system gets, the more bean explosions that might occur. How exciting!

Some may be wondering why my hand is purple. It's a purposeful photo manipulation to detract from what was a very pink purple hand that put strain on the eyes.

Dude the beans look great! There's a meal there.... and soon there will be another. Congratulations! Now, replicating the success, and scaling up, becomes the challenge. It can be done. Now... can it be done sustainably and efficiently?
Keep up the great work! I love indoor gardening as much as I love outdoor gardening. Both have unique challenges and bonuses!

Great question. I cannot answer this until I research pepper plant light cycles. This should probably have been a pre-step to starting the garden.
I suspect I need to change from 18/6, and this might disrupt the bean plant.

I have a feeling you might already know the answer to this lol. Weed grow cycles don't apply for everything.. but the results aren't too shabby 😄

I'll make a post dedicated to the light cycle research in the future.
I think we still need another 4 weeks at least of vegetation for the pepper plants. We need more nodes.

I put the hand there for a measure, so people can get an idea of how big they are. It was a bit too pink, but I guess my technique worked great since it blends in 😄

Your hand is blue! I didn't even see it until you mentioned it. I was looking at those lovely beans! Pick them! I picked mine quite small, and now it looks like I will soon get another second crop of them.

If you didn't see it then my technique worked too well! haha. I put the hand there is a "measure" so people can get an idea of how big they are.

Thanks! I picked them and ate them raw. New one's are starting now. Seems they start out slow and then pick up pace. There will be another nice batch I am sure. Hopefully I can keep it producing for a while.
