说一个时代，我们就要说这个时代的人。每个时代的人不同，形成的时代特色也就不同。夏商周三代，天下有六种人。他们就是天子、诸侯、卿大夫、士、庶人和奴隶。这是一种属于金字塔式的模式，天子仅此一人，诸侯若干，卿大夫次之，士兵少之，相对多一点的是庶人，最多的则是奴隶。他们的服务层级也是自下往上的，最下层的奴隶们活动于社会中的方方面面，服务于整个时代的发展。
