Is 16-inch a good length for curly wigs?

I've been buying kinky curly wigs for years, and have worn wigs ranging from 12 inches to 26 inches. I've discovered a pattern: the most flattering length for curly hair is 16 inches.

This length may sound unremarkable at first, but once you've worn it, you'll understand. For example, my favorite Burmese curly and kinky curly lines offer tight, stretchy curls. Straightened, they measure 16 inches, but curled, they reach almost to the collarbone, creating a natural, fluffy look without looking bulky.

I wear them to work and out to eat. 16 inches isn't too long, so they won't get tangled or scratch my neck while walking. Curls at this length layer beautifully. Just a little water and styling foam, and a few swipes with your hands, will restore the curls to their full, springy form. It's perfect for lazy people.

I have a 16-inch kinky curly wig from CurlyMe, and it still looks brand new after a year. The curls become more natural with wear, and my hair feels soft and shiny. Most importantly, this length strikes a balance between naturalness and elegance. Too short can look childish, too long can look heavy, and 16 inches is just the right length.

So if you ask me what length I should choose for a curly wig, I'd say without hesitation: 16 inch wigis the perfect length. It's light, stylish, and easy to manage, with virtually no drawbacks.
