Sometimes if you have to work on a windows environment installing bunches of software can be really time-consuming and annoying.
For private uses the free version of https://ninite.com/ could be your first choice.
You can easily tick softwares you would like to install; yet they provide lots of useful softwares, however only a limited list which is yet expected to grow. Currently there are roughly about 100 applications available.

What does the free Ninite?
It simply downloads the latest installer of each software you chose and installs it with default configurations.
I myself did never recognize any unwanted software(adwares) on system I have used ninite on.
If you want more customizability they also offer a commercial Pro version with a couple of more features.

However this isn't a real equivalent to apt of linux systems (apt-get) yet.
If you are looking for it and if you really like chocolate https://chocolatey.org/ might be the perfect choice.

It offers a similar package managing system to apt for windows systems.
You can install it with your commandline or with the powershell and use it afterwards with the 'choco' command.

Currently there are more than 5,000 community created packages available.
Feel free to contribute to the community and create your own packages if you should ever miss some.
And for those who are more into GUIs there is also a GUI version of chocolatey.
After installing chocolatey just use the command: 'choco install chocolateygui'

However I prefer the commandline, especially the search results of the gui version can be questionable sometimes :D
