A suggestion for v2 - it would be nice to be able to buy tickets not only for yourself, but also for someone else as a gift.
I'm already writing this in white anticipation, because when I hit the jackpot, I'll retire to the Bahamas and give away tickets :-)
I just added a promo code feature 😀 Now you can just reach out to me, and when you pre pay I’ll share a code with you. You can then tell me which user applies it.
Oh, sounds good, but I don't quite understand that. I'm supposed to make a transfer first and then write you a comment telling you which user it's for. Then you send me a code with which I can create the ticket? That would be a bit complicated.
It would be easier, for example, to enter the relevant user instead of the promo code or under “Enter your Steemit username”. It should be possible to assign the ticket using the ticket number. If that is not too much effort.
Honestly, it's folks like you that help make things better. I think I have an idea to make sending this gift idea work.
So basically, you want to send the ticket number as a gift, and have the system display the name of the person receiving it, right?
Yes, I think so, the possibility to buy a ticket for another user that is displayed in the system as their ticket.
The idea with the promo code is also good, so the recipient could generate their own ticket and choose their own number, if I've understood correctly. How exactly this could work automatically, hmm, buy a free ticket, get a promo code... You'll think of something :-)
Yes I'll think of something and let you know before implementing. These days I'm fixing some bugs to give users better experience. With more and more users interact with the app, I get unexpected errors all the time 🧐
