Steem is the world’s first functional blockchain-based decentralized social media network.

There is no arguing about this fact.

We’ve had the interest to be a part of Steem for quite some time, but have not managed to do so for a couple of years. That is until October 2018, when we committed about 24,000 Steem via @blocktrades to fund the account. At the time, most cryptocurrency exchanges have disabled Steem Trading.

4 months ago, our team made the decision to run for Steem witness. We believed that with our experience in the cryptocurrency industry and our technical expertise, we can provide value as a witness to the Steem community. It was also during this time when we are venturing into the PoS/DPoS space.

We understand that Steemians who voted for their witness expect periodic updates and news to the witness in which they’ve entrusted their Steem Power stake in. We can’t fully express how grateful we are to those who gave us their witness vote; regardless of their stake in the ecosystem.

From Minnows to Whales, we thank you for continuing to support us via your witness vote.

As a newcomer on the Steem Witness environment, we are glad to make it into the top 100 list and serve as a backup witness to sign transactions on the Steem Blockchain.

Created an open source Steem Price Feed Script:

We realized that most of the price feed tools are cron job written to check the price; therefore, we decided to write this script with our web socket, which means it will update price accurately instead of a cron job.

The script is created under MIT License, we welcome any witness to use this tool to publish their price feed.

Listed 2 Steem Based project tokens on CoinGecko

We are proud to list HUNT token and BuildTeam tokens on our main website. As a Steemian, we are fascinated with the ideas that @steemhunt and @buildteam present not only to the Steem ecosystem but to the Internet as a whole.

Listing BuildTeam token also means we have successfully connected to the @bitshares Asset Platform WebSocket. Which potentially lets us track Bitshares based tokens easier.

Passed the SteemTorch

The SteemTorch is an experiment to demonstrate the speed and trust in transferring value on Steem social network. A number of Steem (The torch) will be passed to different steemians for 1337 times, each time adding slightly more steem before the last holder donates the final amount to a charity.

We were the 42nd torch holder after we received the torch from @awesomianist and we passed the torch to @steemhunt.

Using Quasar Framework for upcoming open source NFT Wallet Project

Using @quasarframework (which has an ongoing partnership with @utopian-io), one of our team members, @superoo7 has created a web interface to manage NFT CryptoCollectibles and ERC-721 tokens.

@superoo7 has also made a presentation on Quasar Framework during a monthly Kuala Lumpur Javascript meetup.
