Boom!
I have found them. A top 20 list of African women in cryptocurrency. What I love about this list is how diverse it is and yet each represents an African woman. With women making up only 5 to 7 percent of the population in cryptocurrency and blockchain, bringing awareness that we are in this space I believe will spark interest in more women. When it comes to investing, its definitely a male dominated industry. I sometimes think women shy away from investing as it does correlate directly with math, in which nationally known, men tend to outperform women in mathematics. Not to say women do not understand math, but we are definitely not in the majority in this field.
It is a breath of fresh air to see other women in this space with a vision and making moves. It's empowering to know that we are not limiting ourselves when it comes to financials. We are finding ways to solve real world problems, while building investment portfolios to sustain ourselves and family.
With 2018 seeming to be the year of the woman, because women empowerment is at an all time high, this is a great time for women to come together and learn from one another no matter the differences in culture. My journey continues to be assist and guide women on "Innerstanding" themselves in a manner that evokes change. With block-chain and cryptocurrency on the rise, making connections with people across the world is pretty much at our fingertips. So ladies, let's all be Women In Blockchain and Cryptocurrency. Let's reach out to one another and encourage and empower one another to continue obtaining and spreading knowledge. Anyone one of us can be on the list of top women in blockchain and cryptocurrency.
