The first time you spoke,you were called weak,feeble and puny
They never told you your words soothed because you were so real and so funny
You are human,you were broken,you were hurt
That inspired your decision,to always keep shut

You were in the bathroom when you felt two painful balls on your chest
Mummy said you would start putting on a bra because you had big breasts
You felt uncomfortable at first,but you had to adjust
The next week,you saw trickles of blood on your panties
Mummy offered you sanitary pads and showed you how to use them
You felt very awkward but again,you had to adjust

The mood swings, pains,changes and discomfort came

You combined the emotional and mental stress,and pursued your goals
You were denied severally the chances to have an earn

Just when you gave up on love,you met him
Marriage happened and you got the smallest handcuff from your forever friend
You entangled your dreams in his, got pregnant and gained a lot of weight
You didn't care because your family and thier hapiness were all that mattered

Your womb was thier first house,your laps was thier first bed
Your milk provides the milk of life and your back is the perfect bed
You trained,nutured and moulded,even when thier lives were almost shattered
Today,your husband and children are what they are,because you were who you were
Yes! you that woman,the one I'm pointing at

You are a bright light,never stop shining

The family,church,market,society and world at large can boast because of you
You looked at your dressing mirror critically today
You noticed your shape was no longer how it used to be
Your skin was wrinkling and getting darker
A sad thought came and you felt unhappy and ugly
