Girl Power

I was on my way home after facilitating a Women's Day event at the office when i met someone who showed me that girl power is real 😊

Meet Lonila, she drives this "pedicab" which i rode on that day on the way home. She is 27 years old with 3 children. She lives in the same neighborhood where i am also living. I was kind of hesitant to ride on her cab when i saw that she is a woman, i was hesitant not because of the fact that she is a woman but the fact that i was bigger than her and i was a little concerned that she might have a hard time driving. But with her smile and the determination on her eyes, i knew she that could drive me home safely.

We had a good small chat, she was amazing! She told me that she was driving the cab for a while now to help her husband support their family and she is proud of what she does. I salute such a woman so i did not let the moment pass without taking a photo with her!

She is indeed a superwoman!
