Are you pushing too hard on your sales that you push potential clients away?

Excuse my thoughts but I encountered countless of walk in sales person that is not able to distinguish between storming in an office full of confidence with storming in an office being extremely confident that leads to being rude.
Like, don't get me wrong i know you want to push sales but you're pushing too hard that we look like we don't know our requirements.

Daily, we have people walking to our office offering their services, whether it was office supplies, or same service that our company are into some will respect the fact that we will inform them once we need their service but some are going way over board by insisting to talk to the highest person in the office or other people they think that is more appropriate to talk to, you don't do this to small companies wherein their manager is there purchase person/ accounting person etc.

Sales person like this in my opinion just pushes their possible clients away, like hiring people, we look for good attitude, and this is also one of the requirement we look for in a company we want to do business with.
