One day the wood splitter received a huge pile of wood to split.
As usual, he started the day at 8.00am and finished at 5.00pm.
With great effort, he managed to finish the whole pile of wood to be broken, by 5:00 pm.

The next morning, he received a pile with half quantity.
He told himself: Today will be a beautiful day and I will finish long before ... Start as usual from 08:00.

During the day, however, he strove much more than he had strained with the pile of yesterday, ending even late ...

In the evening, when I come home, he wondered why he had more effort with less wood?

The wife replied: Would not you have cut with the damaged ax?
And the man said, now understand why I had struggled so much ..
