Hello Teaching Team

Hello My Steemain Friends ,

Today I am writing about an interesting Steemit Engagement Challenge S32- W5: which is all time my favourite topic ""Today's Writing, Tomorrow's Memories."—The work Diary" this amazing challenge organised by @mahadisalim and @wirngo. So, in this post I am going to share my full day routine (27/ 06/2026 )

my son going to college in the rain.

Lately, I’ve had to wake up early again because my son’s school starts at 8:15 AM. I woke up at 5:45 AM. I heated some water for my husband and then went downstairs to open the main gate. After that, I headed to the kitchen to prepare my son's lunchbox.

Vegetable of ladyfinger and Paratha

Deciding what to pack in the tiffin is a daily challenge because kids can be very picky eaters. They refuse certain vegetables, and—perhaps the biggest factor—they compare their meals to what other children bring, so there’s a lot to consider. For today, I made bhindi (okra)—my son's favorite vegetable—and cooked some parathas.

my Curation work

It suddenly started raining, but going to school was essential, so I handed the kids their raincoats; they got ready and left right on time. I watched them leave from the balcony and wave goodbye. Afterward, I had tea and rusk with my husband before he left for the shop. I then attended to some curation work. Later, after performing my prayers and having breakfast, I set off for the shop myself.

work in the shop

At the shop, I got to work while my husband went to the market. When he returned, I updated him on the orders we had received, and then I headed back home since my son had already returned from school. I made cold coffee for the kids; it’s extremely hot these days, so they crave something cold to drink.

Washed and peeled the mango.

The kids had asked for kulfi today, so I set about making it. I put milk on the stove and prepared the mixture by adding green cardamom, rabdi, and sugar.

Chats with my sister and her daughter.

Once it cooled down, I poured it into bowls and placed them in the fridge. I chatted with my sister and her daughter on WhatsApp and then started preparing dinner.

Put the kulfi in the fridge to set..

For dinner, we had sabzi (vegetable dish) and parathas, and I sliced some mangoes to go with the meal. Mangoes taste delicious with a meal; after eating, we all had kulfi, and I also indulged in my hobby of watching stories. That is how I spent my entire day.

It was great to read your work diary. You have described your entire day’s activities with great beauty and simplicity. As a mother wife and responsible woman striking the perfect balance between home children and business is truly commendable. Especially preparing the children despite the rain cooking their favorite food and preparing Kulfi with your own hands in the evening shows your love and sincerity. Your post teaches us that small joys of everyday life become beautiful memories of the future. May Allah Almighty always keep you and your family happy and content. Excellent sharing.

Good diary post. From sending the kids to school in the morning rain to doing housework and shop work, all in all, a tidy routine in my opinion. The decision to provide thick bhaji and paratha in the tiffin was quite smart. The issue you mentioned of comparing the kids' school tiffin with their classmates is a big concern for almost all mothers these days. Making such decisions every day while balancing taste and nutrition is a real challenge. Along with shop work, I really liked the initiative to make cold coffee for the kids and Kulfi with rabri and cardamom at home after returning. It is both healthier and more satisfying than eating outside on a hot day. Best wishes to you in this contest. 🙂
