It's nice to stand on top of a hill and admire the beautiful scenery.

Living on a hill has many advantages, for one thing, the best views of sunrises and sunsets.

But that's not the only advantage of living on a hill. The cleanest water is usually found there, but you have to put up with some things, like the heat and winds.

Yes, sometimes, standing on my hill, where my plot is, at the top, sometimes I find a positive aspect of living in the floodplain of the river that flows at the foot of the hill, but far away. People there have more opportunities to raise waterfowl, and there's plenty of free pasture for livestock with lush meadow grass, something that's not available on the top of the hill.

But where there's no quacking, there might be gurgling grape juice, and I'm thinking of planting table grapes

Almost everything has its pros and cons, but even the cons can be turned into pros if I want. At the very least, living on a hilltop and unable to raise geese, I'll be able to sleep soundly and not worry about the floods one day inundating my entire yard, as happens periodically to those who live in river valleys.

I once learned about some Koreans who leased orchards in Kazakhstan and planted carrots between the rows. These carrots, sliced ​​into thin noodles and seasoned with spices, became very popular and became known as "Korean carrots." These guys used the land very efficiently.

I was curious about what could grow next to grapes and hoped that raspberry bushes could grow next to them and climb up a chain-link fence. But no, you can't plant raspberries next to grapes; they'll crowd each other out. But you can plant strawberries next to grapes; it's even beneficial, and the proximity improves the grapes' flavor.

Now I'm thinking about how to implement this in practice :)
