Controversial feelings.
There's a saying that says a person feels good when they feel good, and it's hard to argue with that.
It's this intangible "good" that drives us forward when things aren't going so well. Lol.
For example, you see the beauty of autumn and you should feel good about it, but suddenly the thought occurs that it's going to get colder soon and your utility bills will increase significantly, and this thought gives rise to controversial thoughts that can distract from the beauty of nature.
What's good is fleeting, or it's quickly replaced by something else that's also good, like being in the warmth of your home and knowing all your utility bills are paid, allowing you to relax for a while and contemplate the beauty of nature in peace.

Lo que aprendí al ver la foto del otoño en Ucrania es que la belleza se vuelve más cruda cuando recordás que el frío sube la factura de energía. Sin vueltas, la vida me enseñó que ese choque es el motor que nos empuja a buscar el equilibrio.
