Flowers, if you think about it, are just like birds, flapping their wings and reaching for the sun.

Yes, I agree, flower wings are usually called petals, but these petals are very similar to wings, and these photographs confirm it.

You're right to doubt this humorous statement, and you'd be partly right, because flowers don't fly; they can't get off the ground.

But on the other hand, I don't recall ever seeing a flock of ostriches fly past my window lol.
