New Year.

For each person, New Year is something special and very personal, aside from the wild moments of celebration, which are, in theory, present for everyone, only the degree of this activity varies.

They say it's a time for making wishes, saying that whatever you wish for as the clock strikes New Year's Eve will come true.

I don't know, I have a slightly different perspective, perhaps influenced by the life stories of people who knew and honored God, and God is not Santa.

For me, New Year's Eve is a time to examine my hopes and the fulfillment of those hopes over the past year, and a desire to learn to trust in God in everything, as Abraham did, for example, who only became a father at the age of 100, and everyone laughed at his belief that one day this would happen.

Without such faith, the new year will be just another year in which I was immersed in the daily grind, even though I saw the presence of God around me.

A tiny bit of faith, like a grain or a drop of water, works miracles, but it's not faith in the good intentions of a bank offering a loan on favorable terms, or faith in the government making the right choice when you're a voter. No, only faith in a Good God works miracles, both in the past and in the new year.
