The bridge between an idea and its implementation.

Once upon a time, long ago, sitting on a chair after school in the office of the design institute where my mother worked, I was examining the complex drawings she was sketching out by hand on a drawing board and asked her if this was the most difficult quarter of her life. She was drawing a plan for a bomb shelter, where all the concrete walls were studded with various rebars, and all this had to be taken into account and the loads calculated.

She laughed and said that while she was making it difficult, it was much more difficult to calculate and draw a bridge, because there are so many torques involved.

And indeed, a bridge is complex, indeed.

For example, I decided to draw something and came up with some superficial idea, but all that separates a blank sheet of paper from the finished work is definitely a bridge.

Often this bridge is shaky and he is a timid butterfly, ready to fly into any minute somewhere and not say when he is going to return.

It's good when you can be careful and consistent, not to scare off the money and finish the work on building this bridge, but sometimes it happens that the result isn't a bridge, but a ramp, a pier, which still has a long way to go to reach the point of becoming a bridge. But there's still hope: one day, I'll be able to bridge both banks.
