The wind knows no regrets.
People—especially those who make quick decisions—are sometimes compared to the wind; this is true in part, yet in other respects, it is not.
Unlike people, the wind knows no regrets. If it fills your ship’s sails and carries you somewhere other than your intended destination, you cannot hold the wind accountable, nor will the wind be tormented by a guilty conscience.
Perhaps, then, the wisest course is to yield to the wind—as sailors sometimes do—rather than resist; otherwise, the wind may snap the masts, and the ship risks ending up at the bottom of the sea.
So, too, if you find yourself off the coast of America instead of India, you cannot know what holds a blessing for you; do not be too quick to give in to regret simply because things did not go according to plan.
The day flies by; sometimes, before you know it, the sun is sinking below the horizon, and you haven't managed to do what you intended. Is this a clear cause for regret?
Or perhaps it is a good thing?
You will sleep, and upon waking, you will view your work from a fresh perspective—and perhaps, on this new day, everything will go better for you than it did yesterday.
You crossed a rushing stream in search of something interesting, only to realize that the bank you left behind was far more fascinating than the one where you now stand. Yet, because you were gazing at the opposite shore rather than watching where you stepped, you might feel regret. Do not—for now you have a wonderful reason to return, explore both banks, and discover twice as much as you had originally planned.
Cast regret aside!

Es muy interesante la analogía que estableciste entre "el viento" y "las personas". De hecho, señalas, de manera acertada, que en ocasiones alguien puede actuar o reaccionar de manera intempestiva como el viento, pero en muchas otras no, porque como dices: "El viento no conoce de arrepentimientos". En cambio, los seres humanos, sí.

The theme of the wind has always seemed interesting and appealing to me—even a source of motivation for my own modest creative work.
Among the contests held on Steemit, there were some where the organizer invited participants to edit a specific photograph—to add a personal touch to the image. Those were the rare instances where a fragment of someone else's photograph appeared in my posts.
Otherwise—as is the case now—I publish only my own drawings and photographs, along with artistic edits created manually in a photo editor, without the use of AI.
Here is a step-by-step example of my work.
