Yesterday is forgotten today.
Yesterday is forgotten today.
How sweet and unforgettable can be every morning, or a day that passed long ago? It's as vivid as that first visit to an amusement park as a child, and you want to repeat it anytime at the snap of a finger.
But when that doesn't happen, frustration sets in and the realization dawns that even amusement parks have off-seasons, and you need to live in the present, try to make this, today, unforgettable.
I've known people for whom yesterday seemed like nothing more than a public transport train running in circles, sitting at the bus stop, waiting for, oh, that morning to return.
But it never returned, and they bought a ticket for it—a lifetime pass, at that—refusing to accept that the past cannot be returned.
The ruins in their souls and minds never left them.
Some continue to dream of a soda for a kopeck a glass, while others hope that the money they lost during the default will be back in their bank account.
It's impossible to explain to them that it's best to forget the day, or to treat it as a pleasant memory, not one to live by.
