I wish for more better sleep and lesser caffeine this year because new factors are affecting me

I just spent the new year's eve here in the comforts of my new bog and clean room because there is nothing to do and besides, my joints are not permitting to do anything. It could have been more fun if I was able to build a gas cannon and blew it up a few times just for the fun since it is OK to make noises in new year's eve here in my neck of the woods and no police will come, even if you light-up illegal firecrackers which was so rampant in use in the 90's until the government and the police cracked-down on its manufacture and sale.

The pinnacle of fun on the new year's eve here in my country was on the 80s and 90s because in every store and roadside even a month or a few months before the new year's celebration, you can buy firecrackers of many sorts and sizes. The police are still not widely enforcing crackdown on firecrackers and if they do, they just bring it home and use it for themselves.

Yes it is really fun during those decades and I would always look forward about the new year celebration as so many people would use firecrackers to celebrate to make the morning air acrid with smoke produced by tons of both legal and illegal firecrackers. I would always wait for that one neighbor of mine to light-up this illegal rocket, he will not let it fly but stick it firmly to the ground and let it low-up there and would cause a big bang and of yeah it was so fun to witness it because it creates a shockwave.

During my younger years, we can still burn tires during the new year's eve to throw firecrackers in it and no one will protest, do it now and somebody will try to extinguish it. During those moments we also utilize bamboo cannons fueled by Calcium carbide "rocks". We would put these bad smelling rocks we bought from a fruit stall inside the bamboo and later steel cannon in order to make our Boom cannon to work because if you would put some water to the Calcium carbide rocks, it will produce gas which makes it explosive when you light it up from a small hole in the base of the cannon. It is also better to use a steel cannon than a bamboo because bamboo cannon would always disintegrate when a powerful explosion happens.

Anyway, with the wide use of illegal and even legal firecrackers, there will always be small children and idiots handling such dangerous stuff. So on that same night and after the new year's eve and even before the new year celebration happens, there will be lots of people young and older alike and even damage to property and loss of life is broadcasted in the news.

Although the videos and images are blurred-out, it is still a gore-like video which almost everyone liked to watch and there are many victims of such tragedies where most people are maimed permanently because of a lost of fingers, a finger, a hand or even both hands after handling firecrackers which they should not do in the first place.

The government finally took steps to campaign for not using illegal firecrackers until the banned it and then the police started enforcing the confiscation and cracking down in illegal firecracker manufacture and sales. I witnessed that after that in every year of new year's eve celebration, the number of victims went down considerably because for one thing the government made it illegal so common people can't buy them anymore aside from not much young people it seems are unlike in the past where they like to light to fire-up firecrackers in any time of the day and night, but now even doing the traditional dressing up for Christmas and going to their Godparents to pay respects and receive a gift is no longer practiced by many youngsters and are just choosing to stay at home and watch TV or use their smartphones.

It is just nostalgic to witness the times passed but I still fell like a near middle-aged teenager. If you will place me between teenagers, you would not notice the difference because my bones didn't developed, but I am like a teenager too but a middle-aged teenager and could very well enjoy the fun and curiosities of teenagers if you will put me with them especially in such momentous times like new year's eve but during those past times where it was more fun to celebrate it compared to now where the government might have made it safe but truly, it is not that fun anymore.

As a Christian myself and member of MCGI, we are taught to celebrate the biblical new year and it happens on the month of March because the Gregorian calendar is inaccurate. The Christian new year this year will happen in the Nisan 1, 5785 and in the Gregorian calendar it will be on the 29th of the month of March this year. The basis for this fact or belief can be read on Exodus 12:2 “This month is to be for you the first month, the first month of your year." -NIV

Anyway, it will not be bad if I will wish for a better sleep and less caffeine consumption this year because I needed my body's normal functions to be normal which I am trying to do all these years. It is so difficult of you lose appetite, to be insomniac, and be physically "challenged" with pain and limitations and all I want, wish, and hope for year after year was to get better. I know that it is still impossible to get on the right track health-wise so to speak but I am still praying to God to grant me my wishes because all I want is just to get back to feel a near normal life, that is if God wills it for me.
