My brother told me to try to set the A/C unit in my bedroom to how leveling-down its power consumption to 40% works and there are options in the App where I can set it to either full power of 100%, 80%, 60%, and then 40% and so this evening we agreed to turn on the A/C to run at 40% power. Well, I can't see no difference about its cooling factor but I only had set the thermostat or its cooling target goal to 27 degrees Celsius because I don't like it very cool in my room.

The coolness level is sufficient enough for me to be comfortable but I still have to use my blanket because otherwise my hands and feet will become cold. The A/Cs cool air is striking the wall and it falls over me because I am on the opposite side of the A/C which is mounted above the window.

The consumption as I see it is lesser than if you will set the power level to higher but there are extra appliances in my house which is running at this point in time which is the electric fan in my parent's room where my father sleeps and the one which my mother uses in the living area as she wants to sleep there temporarily because she has a cough, just to avoid my father from getting the cough as well although my mother's cough is allergy in origin. It turned out that she stopped using vitamin C which did affected her and so she got sick, I told her to take vitamin C always.

Anyway, it is a good thing that my brand of air conditioning unit has a Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and an App where I can control its features even remotely which will make it efficient for me to use it for my needs like trying to save power if needed or turning it on a few moments before I enter my room. The A/C unit also has an air ionizer for purifying the air and I haven't tried it yet but it is a good feature for people who needs clean air like my mother who has allergies.

I can't extensively use this aircon at night or if there is no sunlight temporarily because I still have to wait for the net metering service to be activated because at this point in time, we can only enjoy the power coming from the solar panels when the sun is shining or even if it s overcast at day except if the clouds are dark. The solar panels can still harvest power at around 5:00 PM and I was wondering is an extra light reflected from somewhere can make it generate more power, but I am guessing it will.

Now I am excited to see how net metering service will give us zero-billing from the power company and I just hope that God wills it for us to enjoy free energy as soon as possible because it is my gift to my parents so that they will not have the problem about paying bills and at the same time will enjoy the A/C, the water heater, and the electric stove, plus the TV without worrying anymore with its collective power consumption.

Anyway like my screenshot shows, the 40% power consumption really cuts the power consumption of my A/C unit in my room, it even goes to consume lesser power as the night deepens considering that the cooling effect remains the same.
