It feels divine to have a clean and silent room
We have a guest in the house today, I can hear their faint conversations from here in my room and I couldn't perceive who is this guest, it could be my cousin which came from abroad because his mother had died and the wake is inside their house and then I can faintly hear my brother in law is talking with him too along with my parents.
If I will be in my former room I will be easily distracted because the wall between me and the living space is just plywood and I did regret to stay in our former house because it had given me lots of discomfort with regards to where to sleep without so much distractions.
Now that my room and my parent's room are clean and comfortable, it feels merry to say the least because it is the first time in my life to have such comfort. I am now staying in a large bedroom, it has large and beautiful built-in cabinets, the floor tiles are new and shiny, the ceiling has drop lights with changing colors when you flick their dedicated switch several times, then the main light is bog and bright.
The ceiling is made-up of PVC panels, they are plastic but are good to look at and they are protected by thick insulation above. Now I will not be bothered anymore by that creature residing in my old ceiling which sometimes run across my old bedroom ceiling which also makes weird noises and I sometimes worry it would drop to the rotten section of the ceiling and then bite me. So now it is a thing of the past because the while house is new, presentable, safe, and very functional, I just needed a new sofa set in the living room which had gotten bigger as new spaces are now used after the main door was put facing our new terrace in front of the road.
Now I can turn off the lights while I wanted to sleep, I can't do that from my old room because cockroaches might appear, they are many in my old room and sometimes one freaky cockroach would fly and it will make me "stand in all fours" just to try to kill it to end my terror but often times I would miss. Now I have a new screen and new windows and there aren't much other living things in the new house except us with me and my parents.
It is a dream come true, I never thought that one day I can ever establish a big project like this but actually my dream was a bigger house but for the moment this will do because it takes a lot of money to have a house with extra rooms, let alone with second floor because after all we are not a big family and I am very happy with the result of this house considering that it has solar power and water filtration system plus many comfortable places where I can hang around. I walk much frequently now and it feels better because I can exercise my legs and knees make them strong as there are many paces in my house to walk around like in the terrace and the new backyard with its fresh air and new settings. I thank God a million times because I made my parents and family very happy.
