My Nephrologist had dropped-by to visit our dialysis center which she holds. I didn't bother to let her see me since I do not have anymore concerns to say to her so I just tried to sleep which I can't but I kept my eyes closed like I always do because there isn't much to do when I am hooked up at dialysis except to check the time or check the Internet using my phone.

It is cold inside the dialysis center because the air conditioner is always maintained unlike when I was still new there, the A/C doesn't give a substantial comfort so more often I would perspire and be miserable while waiting for my treatment session to end. It is better to be cold than to perspire because if it is cold I can adjust by covering my body with ample amounts of blankets.

That is why I was not using my mini fan anymore but the cold would make my hands cold if I take it out to use my Smartphone and it makes me less use my smartphone to watch a video or read something from the Internet so I just end-up trying to sleep which is impossible because the nurses would happen to jerk my seat when they go to the door because they would step on a loose tile below my Lazyboy chair.

Anyway, I overheard my Nephrologist telling my nurses to turn the blood pumps of the dialysis machines to three-hundred milliliters per minute 300 mL/min and said that they are setting them slow so she ordered them that. Later, as one of the nurses asked me to confirmed on how much water/fluid that I wanted to be taken-out, I told her my answer and than I asked her about the blood pump, she said 280 which means 280 ML/minute speed and said to her to adjust it to 300.

I thought that she didn't adjusted it but when the nurses are doing their "conference' which means they would talk about and review what they had done and ben doing to each individual patient so when it came to my name the other head nurse said that my blood pump was adjusted to 300 mL per minute.

Why is the speed of blood pump important to me? Well when the blood goes faster from the patient's body and through the dialyzer (blood filter/artificial kidney), more blood will be cleaned and it means more toxins will come-out and in effect, the patient will have a better well-being. That is why I am happy going home today after my session, I just hope that my nurses will not pump the sodium because otherwise it will again make me so thirsty.

But my blood pressure had been so stable lately, it doesn't go down to 100 and below anymore and I thank God a million times for it. I did actually prayed for God to move my healthcare professionals to specifically adjust the blood pump and I was indeed heard by God. My supplication is just to have a better well-being and I am being heard so I will have to pray some more so that at least even with this state of health which is hard to manage, I can still feel much better until maybe another prayer is heard which cab give me the proper wellness that I want to happen. To God be the highest praise and glory! Amen.
