My Uncle and Aunts have to sign one document as the final hurdle requirement for the installation of our net metering service but they live too far from us
My father asked my brother, the one who is helping us for our application in the installation of our bi-directional net meter service from the power company using our solar power system and he told my father that we needed a document signed by my Uncle and Aunts which is I think called an "Extra judicial settlement" document where it basically needs signature of my father's siblings in order for us to push through with the aforementioned application.
Then we will pay the Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC) a fee which can be paid online using a so-called "portal" after another document is granted to us which is called Statement of Account because we needed the account number in order to pay the certificate of compliance, at least the is what I understood about it.
Once these two things are done, the signatures and the payment of the fee, the power company will then inspect our electrical system including the solar power set-up and so after that maybe they will hopefully install the bi-directional power meter. So I am just excited about it because it seems so near and yet it is not yet a reality. However I am confident that it will happen before this month ends so that I can see how it works because I really wanted for us to experience a "zero-bill" which will save us some money and at the same time enjoy an almost unlimited power source coming from the free energy coming from Sunlight.
If you have noticed, there is quite a lot of steps in order to establish a net-metering service and indeed it has a lot of requirements particularly for our case in which our power service was registered to my grandfather, so we have to produce documents which would prove my father's relationship with my grandfather and then connecting my grandfather's relationship with my grandmother because this property came from my grandmother which was given to her by my great grandfather which my father had bought from my Aunts and Uncles and grandmother but there is no title, and the power company requires us to produce a document pertaining to prove that we own this property, so it caused us to produce more than usual amounts of documents.
So now the final document which I already mentioned had to be done as soon as possible because again it will then pave the way for us to get the net meter installed. In addition we can finally use these said documents to get our property its own title so that the next generation of our family will not have anymore issues about this property's titling in the future.
