Our house will be painted today and the colors are just bright and gay because the house will have a solar array

The painter gave us a brochure or whatever it is called to let us choose the color we wanted to be used as the house color and I let my mother choose the color because if I will be the one choosing them, I might make the house look like rather funny if not unique. It is just fun to be at the pint where you choose what color that the house will be and of course I feel much blessed because of it not to mention my mother who wanted a dream house where she told me a few months ago that she wanted a house just "before she dies" and it had put me in a sort of panic because if she did die before her new dream house is built, my conscience will hunt me for the rest of my pitiful life 😅.

Well again, there is a need for a new house because the roof and ceiling is already deteriorated. The ceiling in my room has a creature that makes noises, I don't know if it was a Bat, a bird, or a reptile and I got worried that it might soon fall in that rotten part of my bedroom's ceiling and then bite me, that is a nightmare if it were to happen.

The old house also gets flooded inside when it rains and I feel terrible of course because it feels like we are living worse than people living in a trash dump yard especially if the outside flood water level equalizes with the flood level inside, the more dirty water comes into the house. So my aging parents has to clean it up after the flood went down again but thankfully it comes down unlike in other places in our town and I thank God that our barrio is among the very few which has a relatively higher elevation.

Anyway, we had chosen a bright and cheery color because I know that light colors doesn't absorb much heat. There are no sources of shade for our house because there are no trees so it is quite get very hot inside when the Sun is up particularly in the hot and dry although our weather system here in my country is messed-up already, we are experiencing more rains if not cloudy skies which I do not like because of the trouble it brings to all people in my town alone.

The house has to be protected from the heat of the tropical Sun because we will going to use airconditioning units and we have to maximize the AC's cooling effort because again, we will be using Solar energy with Net metering system. A Solar energy Net metering system is a system where your solar panels convert solar energy and incorporate the energy to the grid and then gives you credit for it which you can use to get energy from the grid. So we will be having two electricity meters, one is for billing and the other one is for counting the credits given and taken to and from the grid respectively.

That is why we do not have batteries for our solar set-up, it means that it will be cheaper to set-up but when there will be power-outages at night, we will not have any power to use unless power outages happens when the Sun is shining. But power outages are rare to happen here in my area and when t happens, it only lasting for a few minutes.

I also have to fix the spaces at the front and back of the hose plus the garage area beside it which is why I am now poor because of the expenses. However it will definitely improve our quality of life because there will be lots of spaces which I can go and rest my back or sit around. The garage area also had to be done because it also gets submerged when there is a widespread flooding considering that many years ago it was already elevated.

Now it had been elevated once again plus the roof above had to be removed and a new one is now being built as well because the old there leaks and I have no choice to include it to the house project. But if I had the extra fund, I might have the roof to be an extra living space, a rest house, or garden because we do not have extra space in our property already for such additions.
