Our Sofa bed arrived today for the house but I still need to have additional Sofa set
I bought a sofa bed and it arrived immediately, it was a bot stressful for me when my package will arrive and I am not home because I was in the dialysis treatment center when the courier called me asking about the landmark where our house is near so I told them about where they can find our house to be sure.
I called my mother to let her know that my package will arrive and this is a big item. I also have a few parcel coming which are the pillows for me and my father. I bought two comfortable pillows but for myself I purchased a memory foam pillow which I thought to be small but it is like a regular sized pillow as seen the photos above.
For my father's pillow it is filled with synthetic fibers but I still not sure about that, possibly because I touched it and it was soft but firm enough to give an ample support when sleeping as the reviews about the product is saying. I needed better pillow because my ear hurts when I lay down on my side using my current pillow and probably using a memory foam pillow will solve that sleeping issue.
I asked my parents if they wanted another one of these Sofa beds, but mother told me that she wants a sofa with feet. Well that means that I will have to shell-out some more money because again no one will ever buy us such an item because it will be out of budget for my siblings and they have priorities of their own, they have families.
On top of that, my folks also wants a TV, Smart TV that is and for me if I will ever buy a TV I want it to be durable. I wanted to pick the best one but it will also cost me an arm and leg once gain. We haven't used TV for a long time already ever since the one that I bought went out of commission and we got it disposed of already. However a Smart TV will have to be placed in our house because my old parents wants and needs another form of entertainment system.
If I will be the one to choose, I will really opt-out form purchasing TV because I am already using my laptop as a form of my own entertainment plus I do not watch movies anymore as all of my favorite actors for one thing are not making movies anymore because they either had passed-away, grown old, or not making movies anymore, plus movies nowadays are not anymore good to watch because the owners of movie-makers are just concentrated on making money and not the quality of movies.
Anyway, what I want is a good sound system, it too will cost an arm and a leg because I want the JBL speakers. I might opt-out from buying the biggest ones because for one thing again they are too expensive and then if I will play a loud music, my neighbors might drop from dancing too excessively and I might get in trouble with that. I for got to mention and I will mention it, I also have to buy a new laptop too, it can wait a little but what I mentioned has to be acquired otherwise the hose will look incomplete despite of its beauty.

It sounds you are doing well you can affort buying all this, with us very expensive stuff.
It must be great to order and not bother about the price.
I had 2 smart TVs. Never bought them by the way.
Both are still around (Samsung and Panasonic I believe) but we never watch tv, not since 20 years.
The latest seems to have issues, same like the first, no longer internet access and if it comes to it it's cheaper to use the laptop. Another minus is my children can not use it for their (old) gaming consoles meaning we have the old TV again to be able to play.
The smart TV turns out not too be smart at all and more a waste of money. They are quickly outdated.
Enjoy all the new stuff.
Btw I can't sleep with pillows so no idea what the good ones are and if they do, on long term, as promised.
My dear parents would like to have TV so that they can get another form of entertainment, besides we do not have a working TV for years now.
I gave my brother money to purchase a Smart TV and it was delivered today. But my money fell short so he has to fill the remaining balance, now I owe him some money,
If I were to really choose, I would skip the TV because of the reasons which I already mentioned but my parents wants one so now its a reality and they were very happy. Now I have to purchase a TV stand for it.
I am new to Smart TVs, it seems that you can install a browser for it as well. I might begin to try it tomorrow. Right now my nieces are in the living room and my back is hurting because we just recently moved to this new house and I spent a little while sitting around and inspecting how the house looks with all the cabinets, screens, and grills installed Miss @wakeupkitty @wakeupkitty.pal.
My back also hurts trying to figure out how the new shower with heated water works. It turns out you flick the "Knob" for turning on the water and then selecting where the heated water will pass through. My mother had to call my brother in law inside our big bathroom while I wait sitting naked.
This house is a dream come true and I thank God a million times for it as my mother's wish is granted. 🌹💗
It depends on the smart TV. The first, Samsung, had a the browser inside (Yahoo) and some games. The other, newer one, Panasonic, simply connects with the internet we have. Or I should say it connected. It can't be upgraded or so meaning we have to attach the laptop which broke. LOL. Since the family is more into vintage gaming the old TVs are better since even the dancemat of my daughter doesn't play the steps and music synchrome which is a burden. We also don't have cable TV or so, meaning we only watched through internet which is no longer possible.
If it comes to spending money: you should not let yourself manipulate and your parents could have wait a bit longer. It's not good to have debts. I find you very generous. You built a new house, bought new furniture.
BTW How come the TV standard isn't included? It sounds odd to me. Did you know you can also use a Flat screen for a computer as a smart TV?
Since you already bought and have debts I would say enjoy all the new stuff to the fullest.

My original priority to happen was to get a Kidney transplant, it all changed because of the type of Kidney disease I had before, it is caused by an autoimmune disease which if I were to be transplanted with a new Kidney, my body will reject it again.
I reckon that there will be a lot of work after transplant like visiting the hospital many times for checkups and all that and I do not want to subject my parents to those extra hard work because after all, I will not have a good outcome because of my medical circumstance.
Then I switched my second priority to replace my first priority, I was just waiting for BTC to rise high enough to let me realize a safe, clean, functional, a more than presentable type of house. So since I got the funds, we went for it and we asked the assistance of my brother to oversee the construction and I thank God that I have such a loving and supportive sibling.
With regards to the expense for the house, I thought of really to make it better to serve me and my parents the best house for us to live into for the rest of our remaining lives and I can't wait any longer too considering that I waited a longer time already, we just have to do it now and because of the grace and mercy of God, our dream now is a reality with bonus features.
When it comes to debt I had no debts, only this body of mine which I need to get into the dialysis center three times a week, all things pause when I go to the dialysis center, it is such a bothersome routine but thanks to God, I am doing well.
I have emergency funds and savings and investments. I must say that I am doing well compared to many people in my country financially which many years ago was not even in my dreams to happen but I am still sick and so it gives me mixed feelings but I rather be sick and have a good financial standing than being sick and poor which again I thank God a million times for Miss @wakeupkitty @wakeupkitty.pal
Anyway, our new Smart TV came with a free wall mount bracket and my brother in-law's men (he is a work supervisor) installed on our wall. It is a good thing because we will never need a TV rack which is also expensive.
It is a good idea that I can connect my laptop to the Smart TV, in that way I can watch and listen to videos and music respectively. With that in mind I might need a louder sound system for the TV and or my laptop, but that can wait. I still need to get a sofa set, most probably recliner seats so me and my parents can sit down comfortably when we are in the living room. I am thanking God already about it.

It sounds as if you jave an auto immune disease similar to what my friend had. She also had no optoon for a kidney transplantation. It's good to hear you are not in need and willnhave something left in case of need or at least that is how I understand it.
If it comes to your sibling, for sure he's also happy you are the one realizing the dreams of your parents which is something he can't. At least you have a sibling willing to give a hand.

Ps I would never hang a TV against the wall and all TVs are sold with us with a standard.

I am missing a lot in my life because of my current condition because being a dialysis patient had a lot of body complications like the one I am crying about which is poor appetite and of course this body mal-transformation which could still be ok if not for the back pain which haunts me still.
Even by walking a little and sitting around for a while, pain still kicks-in like what happened last Sunday, our moving day, I just went to look around inside the house for the first time to see what it looks like and I tried to sit around for a while too and it hurt my back despite that I had a lot of improvement particularly when I lay down flat on my back on my mattress. It is the reason I can't sit for long to paint but it is still in my plan.
Anyway, part of my relief when it comes to emergency needs or even a major health issue for me and my parents was that we can avail of free health care or at least most of it is supported by the government through our government health insurance system. But one things is a bit sure, we will never ask for financial assistance anymore from any politicians.
My dialysis treatment now is totally free along with the needed EPO injections and monthly bloodwork. These things are prayer answered and it all washed away my worries which I had before but now my life is unburdened greatly because of our government which I thank God for a million times.
With regards to building this house, the burden is for me to accomplish it, I am just lucky to pull it through with some bells and whistles. My siblings doesn't haves much to contribute because afterall they have the family of their own plus they are not obligated in any way, there is no issue on that but I am happy that my siblings offered great help like what my brother and my sister and his husband did/doing.
About the TV, it already came with a wall bracket and my brother in law already affixed it on the wall. I guess that it is ok because it will save some space around the living room-dining area Miss @wakeupkitty.pal @wakeupkitty

Yes, I know how hard it is to spend a life inside and nothing as worse as knowing each part of your body at the inside and outside hurts, but you did manage a lot and look how your life improved in the year of the Snake. 😁
I hope the year of the horse guarantees more freedom, a clean and dry house and some extra improvements of your health.
Less humid, less dark, a better bed, more space, being able to sit outside and fewer stress. I hope once settled your appetite will increase and you will have the Chfistmas dinner you long for.
Don't let your parents deny you this after all you did for them! Like your siblings you do not have any obligations, they are the ones who put you into this world.
