The temperatures here in my country is now changing until the heat becomes intense again with high humidity levels in the coming weeks
I am quite ready for the hot and dry season here in my neck of the woods all because that we have a roof with insulation below it and then my bedroom as well as my parent's bedroom are equipped with inverter air-conditioner units. My brother had bought a two horsepower A/C unit for me while for my parents they have 1.5 horsepower A/C unit which they actually do not use.
I asked my mother why she doesn't use their A/C especially during the daytime if the Sun is up hot and shining because it is powered by our Solar power system. She told me that it is not yet that hot and she will just use it when the weather becomes uncomfortable already. It just means that perspiring all day and most of the night particularly if your home at least doesn't have insulation under the roof.
We do have those uncomfortably drizzling hot months and most households here uses A/C while we are left to fend for ourselves and sweat it out because we do not have A/C to cool us from the former old house which I didn't preferred to get installed for the reason that I want to perspire to help me sweat out salt from my body along with letting out extra water to help me with my breathing issues not having a clue that my breathlessness was mainly caused by an acidic blood which I resolved just a few months ago.
Anyway, now we are ready not only to face hot weather temperatures but also during the wet and rainy season with regards to being inside a safe and secured and I must say beautiful house. It is like a miracle that I would even have a house like this one although it is small but it is functioning the way I wanted it like having a free energy coming from the Sun and filtered water because of the installation of our water softener plus water heater.
Now I don't think that I will ever suffer from the very uncomfortable hot and humid days because I can just turn on my air-conditioner and freshen myself with its cooling effect. What is good about my A/C is that I am always operating it at a 40% capacity which is why this A/C unit also saves us power and only eats about 5 cents per hour. I do not operate it everyday but only during the times of the day when I feel uncomfortably hot and if the Sun is shining bright.
We are still waiting for the bi-directional meter to be installed with regards to selling the power generated by my Solar panels and it could have been installed by now if only that final document had been submitted already because it needs the signatures of my uncle and Aunts which really will take some time.
Now my brother decided to just send the document to my Uncle which is currently vacationing in Dubai and then going to my Aunt's residence for them to also affix their signatures to the said document. It will at least take more than two weeks for it to complete because it will take time for my Uncle residing in Dubai to receive the document and send it back to us.
Because of that I will have to wait until I can use the A/C at night because the Solar power system of the house have no battery for the reason that we have the grid-tied type of Solar power system in which again, we are supposed to export the power generated by our solar panels and get power credits in return which is why we applied for the net metering service from the power company and is being assisted by our solar power contractor about the process.
