A steemit bar: designed by me, for a dear friend.

Let it never be said that im not a nostalgic type of guy. Ill often find myself revisiting old posts, old threads and, of course, old silver pieces that remind me of the #silvergoldstackers hey-days of #steemit.

Ive also been known to design a silver coin/bar or 1 over the years. Whilst i have deep overwhelming pride in being chosen as the winner of the 2018 #steemsilverround design winner, on a ver personal note, i also feel immense pride in being chosen as the winner of @raybrockmans steemit bar contest.

He asked the steemsilvergold community, and the wider steemit audience as a whole, to design him his very own bar he could have made into 1oz bars to sell and gove away as competition prizes.

He had a few stipulations: it needed to include his name and/or initials, it needed to have steemit and/or steemit logo on it, andnit needed to be personalised specifically to him.

Without hesitation, the vision of this bar lept out at me, and i got it all downnon paper before distractions clouded my vision. I sentnit to him and th3 community and he agreed this was to be thebchosen winnig design.

Originally, these bars were to be 1oz bars, but what turned out was more like a massive 12.5oz monster bar. Unfortunately, he only ever made 2 of them... he got number 1 andni got number 2.

Im sure if he ever returns, and steem rebounds, then his vision of @raynrockman bars miggt resurface. Untill tha time who knows!!??!! Ive got my 12.5oz monster bar stashed away in my community pour chest.
