Chicken curry | sc29w4 "slow cooked"

A new week for this wonderful challenge that @sooboni invites us to. I'm thrilled and grateful for these wonderful recipes. It's been amazing to learn other ways to prepare such a versatile protein as chicken. I invite @marito74, @yahnel, and @Roxana94 to join this tasty chicken party.

I've eaten slow-cooked chicken before. But not this chicken curry recipe. So it will be a great opportunity to learn and savor a different flavor. What I do know is that slow-cooked chicken is incredibly juicy. So juicy, in fact, that you could eat the bones too! 😋😋😋😋
For this occasion, the first thing I did was wash the chicken with vinegar, as I learned from my friend @marito74 in her recipe for week 3.

Then I removed the chicken skin and cooked it to render the fat. I love the cracklings that are left after the fat is rendered.

These were some preliminary steps before making the recipe. Now I proceeded to prepare everything I needed for this week's recipe.
Ingredients:
- chicken
- tomatoes
- onion
- chili pepper
- Seasonings: garlic, turmeric, ginger, salt, paprika

Procedure:
Step 1: After washing and draining the chicken, I added the fat I had removed from the skin and that's when I started to sauté the chicken.
Step 2:I already had the seasonings ready: garlic, turmeric, ginger, and salt. Once the chicken was seared, I added the seasonings and sauté. The smell was glorious! 😇😋
Once the seasonings were fully incorporated into the chicken, I removed it. Now I proceeded to the next step.

Step 3: I had already chopped the vegetables: onion, tomatoes, and chili peppers. I added them to the pan to sauté them briefly.
Once they were sautéed, I added my chicken back in.

Step 4: I let the vegetables and chicken cook together a little, then I added the water, turned down the heat, and set the timer for 40 minutes. The kitchen smelled wonderful.
It was ready in 40 minutes. It was very juicy, aromatic and very colorful.
Step 5: Once it was ready, I prepared to present my chicken curry. I served it on a platter and garnished it with cilantro leaves.
Once I had presented my chicken curry, I proceeded to plate it for the diners.

In simmering chicken is cooked on low flame . Just low heat infuse taste from meat and spices and make it more delicious and unique. Its good to know that you have tried it before.
You made chicken recipe that looks delicious too.
