Welcome to Steemit Learning Challenge Season 27. In this course we have explore the different Desserts every week, their ingredients, their cooking style, and a food recipe that is the most popular.

Introduction to Desserts

These sweet are passed down through generations, their recipes and techniques used as part of family heritage. Traditional desserts are an expression of diversity and richness from the world's foods. They bring people together, evoke emotions, and create memories, making them part of our shared human experience.

Traditional Desserts

Traditional desserts showcase the diversity and richness of global cuisine. Kheer

Today I'm sharing my traditional dessert Kheer. Its make at eid festivals , on special occasion. It's very popular dessert in my area and different ingredients may change its texture and flavour. I'm sharing the original kheer recipe here.

Ingredients :

Ingredients
Milk 1kg
Sugar as per taste
Rice (soaked in water)100g
Coconut powder 4tbsp
Almonds 3tbsp
Cream 2tbsp

Making :

  • Take milk in a clean pan put it on stove and boil it. Add 2 cardamom in it and cook it. Add dugar in it and cook it on low medium flame.

  • Grind soaked rice in blender, add this ground rice in milk and keep stirring it .cook it for more 15-20 mintutes.

  • Add desiccated coconut in pan and cook it for few minutes more.

  • Turn off the stove then add 2tbsp of cream it and mixed it well.

  • Take out kheer in a bowl and garnish it with chopped Almonds.
