Why I start posting on YouTube instead of writing on webnovel and Wattpad

I started writing stories with a lot of hope and I thought platforms like Wattpad and Webnovel were the best place for me I believed if I worked hard and stayed consistent people would read my stories and support me but slowly I realized it is not that simple on Wattpad many stories get lost and it is very hard to get noticed and on Webnovel it feels like you need to give a lot of time and even invest to really grow as a writer which is not easy for me as a student I cannot spend money or write all the time just to stay visible

I am not saying these platforms are bad they work for many people but for me it started to feel stressful instead of something I love I began to feel like maybe my writing is not good enough or maybe I just do not fit in this system so I started thinking about trying something different

That is when I decided to try YouTube at first it felt strange because stories are usually read not watched but then I understood that people also enjoy listening and watching stories and with simple editing and AI tools I can bring my stories to life in a different way on YouTube I do not need to invest money or depend on contracts I can post when I want and grow slowly in my own way

It is still not easy editing videos takes time and effort but it feels more personal and more free even if only a few people watch it still makes me happy because I know someone is experiencing my story and that is why I started posting my stories on YouTube not because it is easy but because it feels like something that truly belongs to me
