Steemit Challenge - Season 28 Week-3 : Hope Grows Like Spring
Roni thought that there was such a thing as love in his life that it was over forever. Since the breakup of his love, he himself had been broken in such a way, living a completely lonely and helpless life. Day after day, he sat on the balcony watching the city go by, and saw his own life stop. Friends stopped calling. When he woke up, it felt like another new day full of emptiness had returned.
One morning, he went out for a walk and saw a gardener removing a dry tree branch. Roni asked why he was wasting time on it, since it was dry. Then the gardener said, the season has not come yet. When the season comes, it will definitely bloom again. These words left a different kind of hope in Roni's chest, he realized that the gardener was telling his story.
From then on, Roni went out for a walk every day and looked at the tree, and day after day he watched the changes in the tree. And seeing this, a different feeling awakened in him. As he saw it, spring came and the dead tree was filled with pink flowers. Roni started thinking about the tree and maybe I could come back again. Over time, the darkness inside Roni started to melt.
He went out to work and that day he met Nina. Nina is the new member of the team. When she spoke, she spoke with a smile, her smile was so soft, and she was a very calm girl. Roni started to feel such tension inside, yet he lost to his fear. Because he knows that love means suffering, love means pain. And through love, he saw himself becoming destroyed.
Nina gradually became Roni's companion in that sad, rushed life. Laughing and joking during work, small talk at the wrong time, her warm smile sometimes made small cracks in Roni's wall of loneliness. One day, after finishing work, Nina asked Roni, that you have changed a lot and how is that possible? Roni paused for a moment then he replied a tree changed me, Nina smiled but there was a glimmer of light and tenderness in her eyes.
Another day when Roni went for a walk he saw the flowers of the tree starting to bloom. Just then Nina's voice came from behind, she said I thought I wouldn't see you again today. Roni looked surprised and said how are you here? Then Nina shook her head and said that I often come here. Because this tree is very dear to me too. When the tree was dry last year, I felt very sad to see it. I thought maybe it wouldn't bloom again, but now it is full of flowers.
Roni paused and started to feel a different kind of regret in his heart. The two are standing in front of the same tree, both of them at the same time, as if they are being reborn anew in the same place of the story that broke. Nina said in a soft tone, Roni, if you are ever afraid to start again, remember that some trees are just waiting for the season. And when the season returns, the tree also returns to its freshness and its previous qualities.
Suddenly, spring seemed to come to Roni's mind. He slowly approached and said, "Maybe my season has returned too." Yes, that's how it feels inside me. Nina looked at him and there was a smile of love in her eyes. It was as if light was falling from her smile. Then Roni realized that love never dies, it just waits for time, and when the time comes, it blooms again.The End.
