"Steemit Challenge s28wk4: Hidden Truth Unveiled
2nd part of the story continued--
Police Officer David picked up the diary first. The diary was in bad condition, looking like it had been neglected for years. A layer of sand had fallen on the diary.
The diary belonged to Harrison. Officer David remembered that Harrison was a notorious city accountant from decades ago.
David began to read the diary. But most of the writing was fading. Nothing was legible. The pages of the diary were gray; the writing was blurry.

David began to read. I am Harrison, a city accountant. I am caught in the crossfire of a conspiracy. The city's notorious godfather, Nicholas, took my children hostage and forced them to move many of the city's treasures. I was helpless. I had to take everything to Nicholas' house. Then they released my children from their hostage situation.
I first freed the children and sent them to a safe place outside the city. Then I decided to bring back the stolen treasures.
In exchange for everything, I convinced two of Nicholas' men that, after getting everything ready, I would put the treasures in the right place. That's when I got the news that a warrant had been issued in my name. And there was also an order to shoot as soon as I saw it.
I got scared and hid the treasures in this cave.
But the people with whom I had helped get the treasures here claimed the property themselves. A fight began. At one point, one was killed by a bullet, and the other escaped.
There was also a warrant in my name, so there was no way not to tell anyone. There was nothing to prove his innocence except this diary.
Harrison
Police officers David and the garage owner looked at the diary in surprise.
Finally, the truth was revealed.
Both of them were startled by the sudden noise. turned around and saw Tony standing behind them.
Both of them said together-
Are you here?
Tony said with a painful smile-
Yes, I am, and I brought you here.
The two of them were even more surprised, looking at each other with questions in their eyes.
But why?

Because Harrison is my father. My father was innocent. But due to the circumstances, he did not get the chance to prove his innocence.
After this incident, my father was so ashamed that he did not come in front of anyone. My father was living like a dead man even though he was alive. I could not bear his suffering. So, I decided to bring the true story to everyone. So, I took a house near the garage. The owner, Timothy, tried to build a relationship with him, tried to verify his honesty, and was also looking for a dedicated police officer. But I am lucky that you got in touch with David.
My father could have removed them if he wanted to. But he had no sin in his heart. But everyone thought he was guilty, he kept them here without telling anyone out of fear and shame, and wrote it in his diary.
Now you tell me whether my father is guilty or innocent.
David brought more police and deposited all the wealth in the government treasury. The matter went to court. When Harrison's handwriting, which was previously on the desk, and the diary were compared, they found that both were from the same person.
The elderly judge ruled in Harrison's favor. He also said that although Harrison had made a mistake, he had done nothing for himself, and he had been atoning for it for decades.
Now it is our duty to bring him to the city and restore his honor.
Tony was listening to everything in the courtroom. Tears were flowing down his face. But those tears were tears of joy. Today, he was able to fulfill the duty of a true son. He was proud to be a worthy son of a worthy father.
