Yes, the ones that stayed in the human areas are human intellect or lower, the ones that left are presumably safe from anything on the outside. They're much smarter than humans.
Interesting. I'd imagine the smarter androids would be the first machines to reach an existential crisis. Have you or your writing partner decided on the reason why the smarter androids are grouping together and closing themselves in? What are they planning?
